Hello.
Hi, I am Rachel Bryant
Transported Programme Manager
Rachel shares the role of Transported Programme Manager with Anna, our other Transported programme Manager!
Rachel’s role
Rachel’s role is to keep an eye on the operational delivery of Transported’s exciting and ambitious programme across Boston and South Holland in Lincolnshire. C4CC is a perfect host for Transported as it fosters dynamic collaborations and creative programmes, and this is the approach Transported is taking in engaging local people in our Creative people and Places programme.
A bit of background
Rachel has spent many years in Heritage development; physically in museums, galleries, archives and libraries as well as regionally more recently by co-ordinating a Heritage Lottery Fund programme throughout the East Midlands which involved over 100 heritage sites. Prior to these roles she worked in various community development roles in Salford, Wigan and Lincolnshire. She is extremely passionate about culturally-responsive learning, and is proud to be on the Management Committee of the Lincolnshire Heritage Forum Learning Group. She is also honoured to be a volunteer Sandford Award Judge which keeps her in touch with her heritage colleagues and some very fascinating heritage sites which deliver excellent and innovative learning opportunities.
And finally…
Rachel loves all things Italian, and has made many visits there, discovering wonderful art and food, she enjoys children’s theatre with her daughter and likes nothing more than getting lost in an absorbing book.
