Hello.

Hi, I am Adam Fleming
Project Assistant Intern

Adam is the Project Assistant Intern at the Centre, assisting in the administration of C4CC’s internal and external projects, and helping to support the breadth of activity generated by our team. He is a writer, who is passionate about film and literature.

Adam’s role

As the Project Assistant Intern at the Centre for Culture and Creativity, Adam works closely with the various teams associated with the Centre, offering administrative support on a wide range of tasks and projects.

A bit of background

Adam was an undergraduate at the University of Lincoln, graduating with a first class degree in Film and Television. He then remained at the University to complete a Masters degree in Media, Film and Television. While studying at the University, Adam’s love for film theory and film history grew, as did his enjoyment for the practical side of film-making. Adam has made lots of short films, exploring a wide range of genres; from a three minute experimental short, to a twenty minute long Romantic Comedy. This Rom-Com went on to win a University award for ‘Most Engaging Storyline’.

Adam directed a documentary about a small local shopping mall that was in danger of closing down. The documentary gained attention from local media and was well received, but sadly did not save the mall from closure.

After writing and directing a number of films throughout his undergraduate and Masters, Adam decided to focus specifically on screenwriting for his final project. This culminated in Adam writing a screenplay for a feature length comedy-drama film.

Adam’s passion for culture and creativity has led him to working within the Centre, where he hopes to gain further experience working within the creative industries.

And finally…

Adam is currently writing his first novel. Progress is very slow.
